Hotel Bathroom Vanities: What to Specify for a Contract Project

A hotel bathroom is used thousands of times a year by people who do not own it. That single fact changes almost every specification decision compared with a residential order. Below is what matters most when you are sourcing vanities for a contract project.

Moisture resistance over years, not launch day

Every vanity looks fine when it is installed. What separates a contract-grade unit is how the carcass and edges behave after two years of daily steam and splashing. Ask specifically how edges are sealed and what the finish is rated for under sustained humidity.

Batch consistency

A hotel orders dozens or hundreds of the same unit. Colour and finish must match across the whole batch and across any later reorder for maintenance. Confirm the manufacturer can hold the same finish reference over time, not just within one production run.

Lead time and installation

A manufacturer that has done contract work before will answer these without hesitation. Hesitation is itself an answer.
